DiroTPV and Veri*Factu
What Veri*Factu is
Veri*Factu is the Spanish tax agency scheme that makes invoice records tamper-evident.
Who it applies to
The rules on invoicing software requirements generally affect businesses and professionals who issue invoices with a program. There are exceptions and specific regimes: check your case on the Spanish tax agency (AEAT) online office.
Since when
The application deadlines have been extended and may change again. We do not repeat them here so we never show you an outdated date: always check the current dates on the AEAT online office.
What it means for a small business
In practice, your invoicing software must number invoices sequentially, chain them with a hash and not allow them to be altered once issued; corrections are made with a new record, not by editing the old one.
What DiroTPV does
DiroTPV prepares every invoice in the Veri*Factu format — sequential numbering, chained hash and an immutable record — so nothing has to be redone when submission becomes available.
Submission to the AEAT is not yet available in DiroTPV. We will announce it on this page when it is.
