Add and manage products

What you need
To be an administrator. Sellers can look up products but cannot edit them.
1. Open Products
In the side menu go to Products. You will see the list, with active products first and inactive ones dimmed.
2. Create a product
Tap the add button and fill in the name, the VAT type, the stock and the unit. The VAT type is picked from a list the platform already provides: you do not have to configure any rates. There is more detail in the guide on VAT and equivalence surcharge.
3. Add its prices
Each product can have one or several tariffs, that is, named price lists. They are explained in the guide on tariffs and the price selector.
4. Edit or deactivate
You can change the name, the VAT, the stock or the unit whenever you want. A product is never deleted: it is deactivated, after a confirmation, and stops appearing on the sale screen. That way the sales and invoices that already include it are not altered. If you need it again, tap Reactivate.
5. Mind your stock
Stock goes down when the sale is recorded, not when the invoice is issued.
